Resilience through Regeneration

This is our flagship project in the lower eastern region of Kenya

Construction of Water Pans

We are dedicated to enhancing water accessibility for smallholder farmers through the construction of household-level water pans. These water pans provide a reliable water source, crucial for irrigation and daily use, especially in arid regions. While we have successfully initiated this project and constructed a few water pans, the need for expansion is evident. To scale this vital intervention and reach more households, your support will enable us to build more water pans, ensuring sustainable water access and improved livelihoods for countless families.

Demo Farm

In Machakos County, we are establishing a state-of-the-art demo farm that will serve as an essential training tool for local farmers. This farm is designed to showcase regenerative agriculture practices and syntropic agroforestry, providing hands-on learning experiences. Farmers will have the opportunity to observe and practice sustainable techniques, such as constructing and maintaining water pans, which are crucial for water management in arid regions. Through this demo farm, we aim to empower farmers with the knowledge and skills needed to improve soil health, boost biodiversity, and enhance their overall agricultural productivity

Capacity Building

Our capacity-building initiatives with smallholder farmers and local youth are designed to transfer critical agricultural knowledge and skills, leveraging Human-Centered Design (HCD) and Behavioral Science to ensure effective implementation. We tailor our training programs to the specific needs and behaviors of the participants, making the learning process more relatable and actionable. The trainings are highly interactive, fostering a collaborative environment where farmers and youth can engage, ask questions, and share their experiences. This approach not only enhances their understanding of sustainable farming practices but also empowers them to adopt and sustain these practices.
